Frequently Asked Questions
Your Concerns
We understand the importance of your inquiries. Below you will find answers to some of the most common questions regarding our recycling services and procedures.

Which materials do we accept?

At Liquid Mud, we only accept clean waste classified as T130NH. This includes certain types of construction materials, ensuring that these products can be recycled effectively while adhering to environmental regulations.

What is HVAC/NDD excavation?

Non-destructive drilling is a method used to dig the ground without causing damage to the surrounding areas. It's commonly employed in environmental studies, construction, and resource exploration, ensuring minimal impact on the environment. By avoiding destructive methods, non-destructive drilling helps maintain the original condition of the site and supports sustainable practices.

How is the recycling process managed?

Our recycling process involves processing, sorting, and re-purposing accepted materials. Each step is designed to maximize resource recovery while minimizing environmental impact, in line with EPA guidelines.

What amenities are available for drivers?

We provide toilet amenities to ensure a comfortable experience for drivers, including on-site facilities for rest, as well as access to recycled water for truck cleaning.

What do we do with the waste products after processing?

To benefit the environment, residual slurry is transported to our sister site in Nagambie to reclaim land with the sole purpose of returning it to nutrient rich farmable land.

How does Liquid Mud recycle water?

Over a short period of time in our settling pond, water will separate and remain on the top of the slurry. We syphon off this water, store and treat it, then provide this valuable commodity to our clients so they can clean the tanks of their vehicles.

What are our operating hours?

Both our Nagambie and Somerton sites can be accessed 24 hours a day, seven days a week, including Public Holidays.

Is the on-site process easy?
Absolutely. Drivers can confidently use our touchscreen facilities to record both inbound gross and outbound tare weights. The process provides a time stamped weigh-bridge docket, ensuring accuracy and integrity in what we do.
